Austria's Favourite Mountain Bike Race Series

• Every biker who do training and who is in a good physical condition is allowed to participate.
  
• At all races the tracks SMALL and CLASSIC are offered.
  
• For each of the both tracks will be one over all ranking.
• All races will be runned by the rules of the Austrian Bike Association (ÖRV).

• At the Grazer BikeMarathon Stattegg the distance for SMALL is 35km and for CLASSIC 66km.

Start Authorization

At the TREK Mountain Bike Challenge every rider who is trained and in good physical condition is allowed to participate. There is one ranking for riders with a license from the Masters or the Elite and Amateur riders! The organizer is authorized to sort out any rider from the race without naming reasons for that (for example: doping misuse in any sports discipline)

• Riders with a UCI license referred to the UCI ranking
• The first 5 riders of the current Challenge ranking
• All other competitors

(PowerBar-Package, 1 x noodle-party and timing chip are included)

Sunday: August, 22nd^  2010 from 06:30 - 09:30 issue of starting numbers

• Rolling Stones Trophy for the first of each category
• Elevation Lines Trophy for the second and the third of each category
• Certificates for the first three competitors
  

Feed Zones

Every participant gets an exclusive High5 Package. At the official feeding zones bananas, apples, bread and sweets will be offered. Available drinks are High5 Sport Drinks, Coca Cola, non-alcoholic beer and plain water. Support with individual food and beverage is only allowed within marked FEED ZONES.

Photo Service

The German Company sportograf.de is responsible for taking pictures and will charge them in high quality (8-11 mp) by a fixed price. The host will publish all pictures on the official website. Sportograf.de will offer all pictures sorted by starting number two days after the race on www.sportograf.de

Timekeeping

Global Sportservice is taking care of timekeeping measurements. They are using an active transponder system. The costs for hiring the transponder is included in the entry fee and the transponder will be given to you at the race office. Transponders have to be returned after the race, otherwise € 60.-per chip will be charged.

Time limit for the CLASSIC course at FEED ZONE 4 Gh. Martinelli / Leber  >   12:45

All competitors arriving at FEED ZONE 4 Gh. Martinelli/Leber later than 12:45 have to end their race at this point. The race comitee has experienced that it takes riders more than three hours to end the whole race. These riders will be sort out by the race officials and can take a 4km shortcut on the public road back to the Start/Finish area. These riders will be given rankings on the basis of the order of their interim time, subsequent to the last placed competitor, who has finished the whole CLASSIC course. For the Challenge ranking a extrapolated time will be used.
